What is Pastabilities?

A small company based in Sydney, producer of high quality pasta for both Restaurants/Hotels and retail shops. Started about 24 years ago with the aim of making pasta as close to “Home Made” as possible.

I found out about Reward Pay through American Express, after I became a client of theirs. At the end of July 2016 I signed up for an account with Reward Pay and slowly started using the service, to the point that now I pay all my bills through them, as most of my suppliers do not accept American Express, or if they do I would have to call them individually every month.

With Reward Pay, I log in weekly and pay all my bills at one time. My supplier receives the funds the next day and my business has up to 50 days of extra cash flow. Monthly I also use Reward Pay for Super, paying the ATO and payroll tax.

The biggest reason for using Reward Pay is that it allows me to manage my cash flow a lot better. As I said before, my suppliers get paid on time, regularly, and the business receives up to 50 days of credit from American Express. The secondary benefit is that in the future I can use the American Express membership points to offset business travel, by using the partner hotels and airlines in the program. Used wisely, it can be a great cost cutting benefit.

Their website is not complicated and easy to use but it does need some refining. I’ve been working with the team at Reward Pay, giving them my input as a user and I’m looking forward to seeing the changes and improvements in the near future.

For me and my company it is working out really well, but I always say that every situation is different, so have a good talk with your accountant!!
